Where First Notes
Become First Songs.

A screen-free week at the keys — scales, rhythm games, group jams, and a Friday recital that fills folding chairs with proud families.

A Day at Keys

From first clap to final bow — every hour matters.

Follow a single camp morning and see exactly how we balance structure with joy.

Day 1

8:30 AM · Arrival

Backpacks down.
Keyboards on.

Name tags go on shirts, instruments power up, and the room fills with that particular electricity of thirty kids discovering the exact same middle C for the very first time. No phones, no screens — just eighty-eight keys and a whole week ahead.

"She walked in nervous and walked out humming. By Tuesday she was asking to practice before dinner."

Every Morning

9:00 AM · Warm-Up

Clap it back.
Own the beat.

Before a single note is played, rhythm lives in the body. Kids clap, stomp, and echo patterns back to their instructor — silly, loud, and surprisingly precise. Rhythm isn't taught here; it's caught.

Daily Lessons

9:45 AM · Technique

Five fingers.
C major. Go.

Small hands find their home position. Instructors work one-on-one while the group practices independently — a real music education framework, not just YouTube tutorials. By Wednesday, most campers can play a full scale without looking down.

"My son has dyslexia and we worried about reading music. The instructors adapted immediately — he learned by ear first and loved every second."

Tuesday–Thursday

10:30 AM · Group Jam

Mistakes are
just jazz.

The group jam is where technique becomes music. Kids layer simple parts over a backing track, and when someone plays the wrong note, the instructor grins: "Keep it — that's called improvising." The room erupts. Laughter is the best metronome.

11:15 AM · Break

Shade, snacks,
and humming.

Under the oak tree, juice boxes appear and conversations drift between songs. You'll hear them humming what they just learned — not because anyone asked them to, but because it's stuck. That's the moment parents drive home talking about.

"My mother gifted this to our grandson instead of another toy. Best decision she ever made — he talks about it constantly."

Every Friday

Friday · 4:00 PM

One bow.
A room full of applause.

Every camper performs one piece — the one they chose, practiced, and made their own. Folding chairs fill with phone-cameras. A child steps to the keyboard, breathes, and plays. Imperfect, joyful, and impossible to forget.

"She practiced that song every night for four days. When she bowed, I cried. A hundred percent worth every penny."
